Due to the nature of the job overtime work must be expected to a certain extent, which has been considered when determining the salary. Imposed overtime work beyond the expected amount is paid for with the usual hourly rate, calculated as 1/1924 of the annual salary (including pension and other fixed salary components) plus an additional 50 % of the salary. For assigned overtime work on Saturdays, Sundays and non-working days, the overtime pay amounts to the hourly rate plus 100 % of the usual pay. At the Employee’s option, overtime will be paid either by way of time off in lieu or as overtime pay. or Overtime must be expected and there will be no additional payment for overtime neither in the form of direct payment nor as time off in lieu, as overtime work has been considered in the determination of the salary. Thus, no separate compensation is provided for work other than that what is mentioned under no. 7 above. 9. Travel and representation If the Employee’s work necessitates travel and representation in the interest of the Company, it is the responsibility of the Company to cover all expenses in this context. This is done in advance payments, cf. section 7 of the Danish Salaried Employees act. The Company provides a credit card to the Employee to cover the expenses for travel and representation. The Employee will be remunerated for driving his/her own car at the highest going rate, cf. Danish government rules. 10. Holiday The Employee earns and takes his/her holidays in accordance with the rules of the Danish Holiday Act. The special holiday allowance according to the Holidays Act will be paid out at a rate of 1,5 %. The Employee cannot be ordered to take his/her holidays during the period of notice, regardless of the length of the period. This also applies if the Employee has been made redundant. 11. Pregnancy, childbirth and adoption The Employee is entitled to leave in connection with pregnancy, childbirth and adoption in accordance with the rules of the Maternity Law (barselsloven). The Company will pay full salary to the Employee for up to 24 weeks in connection with absence due to pregnancy, childbirth and adoption. It is a requirement for payment of full salary in this period that the Company receives a full refund of maternity benefits. 12. Children’s illness The Employee is entitled to two salaried days off in case of a child’s illness. In the case of further absence, a proportionate deduction of the salary is made.
