FlowCon K DN15-80 (1/2”-3”) 10/2025 Installation and Operation Instruction FlowCon K valves are available with four dif- ferent insert sizes divided over 11 different valve housings: • FlowCon K DN15-25 (1/2”-1”) with 3/4” SS-insert • FlowCon K DN25-40 (1”-1 1/2”) with 1 1/2” SS-insert • FlowCon K DN40-50 (1 1/2”-2”) with 2” SS-insert • FlowCon K DN50-80 (2”-3”) with 3” SS-insert Insert Installation Prior to installing the factory pre-set stainless steel insert (SS-insert) in the K valve housing, the system should be properly flushed. Plugged (standard with p/t plug) valve cover already sup - plied with valve housing can easily be used during flushing. It is recommended to lubricate the O-rings located around the SS-insert and the valve cover with silicone grease before installing the insert in the valve housing and fitting the valve cover. Check the placement of the O-ring on the SS-insert and finger place the SS-insert in the valve housing - there is no need to use tools.
