Maintenance Guideline Smooth/Decor panels Doors, pull-out drawers etc. with melamine has a resistant and plain surface. Daily cleaning by wiping off the product with a clean wrung-out cloth. Wipe off with a dry cloth. For grease stains that cannot be removed in this way, use tempered water with a washing-up liquid (max 1 teaspoon per litre water). Wipe off with a dry cloth, microfiber cloths recommended. Coloured marks from shoes or similar can carefully be removed by using alcohol. Wipe off with a dry cloth. Avoid using any of the different care products that are available as some of these products can change the character of the surface. Household ammonia must be diluted with water. Products giving off steam must not be placed next to the wardrobe. Painted glass / satin glass Cleaning by wiping off the product with a clean wrung-out cloth and using tempered water with a washingup liquid (max 1 teaspoon per litre water). Wipe off with a dry cloth. Interior The melamine surface of the shelves is very durable. Cleaning by wiping off the product with a clean wrungout cloth and using tempered water with a washing-up liquid (max 1 teaspoon per litre water). Wipe off with a dry cloth. Indoor climate / ventilation The wardrobes must not be exposed for persistent contact with water. Water splashes etc. must be wiped off immediately. Ventilation is required in order to avoid moisture damage on the wardrobe, especially in wet rooms and next to dishwashers. (By dishwashers a vapour barrier is required in order to cover the joint between the edge and the chipboard.) Your new wardrobe follows the demand to the standard of the Ministry of Housing and the demand from the Danish Indoor Climate Labelling. In order to secure a good indoor climate the air should be renewed in every room at least 0,5 times per hour. Make venting through windows, doors or ventilation. Bathrooms should have exhaust of at least 15l/sec (54m3 / hour). Moreover, please see the demand written in the building regulations (or local rules). Moveable parts Wheels on sliding doors, pull-out for drawers, shelves and steering arms for angle-cut doors must be cleaned during normal daily cleaning with the vacuum cleaner. Maintenance when needed with greasing of moveable parts with non-acid oil (oil for sewing machines). Please notice that slop of oil or too much oil must be wiped off immediately. Oil can be difficult to remove. Aluminum Aluminum can be cleaned by wiping off the product with a clean wrung-out cloth. Burnish the product with a lint free cotton cloth or a cloth of micro fiber. Please notice that aluminum is not favorably with acidic products. Floor rail Avoid malfunctioning wheels and sliding doors by vacuum cleaning the floor rail regularly. If dirt is stuck in the groove on the floor rail, it may be helpful to use a scouring pad. Marks caused by the vacuum cleaner can be removed by using an eraser. Height adjustment It may be necessary to adjust the height, especially for doors with soft close. Since the metering can change over time, it is important to adjust the bottom wheels several times.
