I n 2024, we once again confirmed our unwavering commitment to sustainable growth, working tirelessly to pave the way for new, innovative and sustainable safety products of the highest quality. We also launched our new corporate strategy, called VIKING BP28, in which sustainability is one of three company-wide transition drivers. The core principle of the VIKING BP28 is that it sustainability is not just a regulatory obligation; it is essential for maintaining business with existing customers and unlocking new opportunities. By embedding sustainability in both our operations and customer offerings, we position ourselves as a preferred partner for customers seeking to demonstrate environmental stewardship and ethical practices throughout their supply chain. Beyond this, we are committed to fostering employee satisfaction, enhancing training programs, and promoting diversity and inclusion, making VIKING an even more engaging and responsible workplace. Our entire organisation’s structured approach to sustainability is driven by our focus on continuously improving our standards also related to sustainability.

OUR BUSINESS MODEL 7 Our supply chain A s a global leader in maritime, offshore and fire safety solutions, we operate a global supply chain across design, sourcing, manufacturing and service. We are also looking beyond the traditional boundaries of our supply chain, especially towards downstream circular practices such as reuse and remanufacturing. Every year, we continue to enhance the efficiency and transparency of our global supply chain network. This includes reducing carbon emissions, minimising operating costs and nurturing a culture of continuous improvement. All our employees are focusing on delivering safety solutions every day. Design Sourcing Manufacturing Service VIKING’s many different ranges of safety products are designed, prototyped and tested by a diverse team of engineers, drawing on a variety of professional skills and backgrounds. Our new product introduction (NPI) process ensures consistent quality of all our products as well as a continued focus on sustainability. As a manufacturing company we rely on suppliers to provide us with important raw materials, such as rubber, textiles, fiberglass and steel. We collaborate closely with our suppliers to accelerate sustainable innovation. We also audit our suppliers to ensure QHSE compliance according to our Business Code of Conduct. Our global production facilities contribute to different parts of our large product catalogue with a unique set of processes and skills. Each facility is aligned to the same high standard. All our production facilities have a local QHSE department, working on One Global Standard that prioritises continuous improvements, risk reduction, health and safety. With more than 280 service stations (a combination of own and certified partner stations), spread across the world, our service and maintenance setup is second to none. All service stations are manned by skilled technicians that continue to receive VIKING training. All service and maintenance done by VIKING complies with local and global legislation.
