April 23, 2020 Impact of coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic on VIKING operations Dear valued customer, With the Covid-19 situation continuing to evolve, we want you to know that we are available to help you and your business any way we can. The majority of our customer support is available by email, website or phone, as our employees are either working from home or in the office. Free Covid-19 awareness and prevention courses The VIKING Safety Academy has developed free online courses for customers to promote awareness and safe behavior during the pandemic. These courses are available on the VIKING Safety Academy portal. Servicing With regard to the VIKING global network of servicing stations, our products can be serviced at almost all VIKING servicing stations around the world. See the interactive map on our website for specific details. Should some stations be impacted by the coronavirus, we can currently perform service at alternative locations granted the ports are open. We can be of assistance with documentation if you need to apply for a service certificate extension. Please contact your local VIKING office for more information. Regarding onboard service: VIKING service technicians attending any vessel, platform or MODU must know that every precaution has been taken to protect them from contracting the Covid-19 virus. Therefore, we have specific preventative measures regarding PPE and pre-screening procedures. Manufacturing and logistics VIKING can ensure your product delivery. We have production facilities in 6 countries, which gives us the flexibility to shift gear with some notice. We stay in close contact with our suppliers and have redundancy in our supply chain, while all facilities are currently in operation. Most countries, as with Denmark, have however, now either closed or partially closed their borders to minimize the spread of the coronavirus. We are still able to ship the majority of goods and urge you to maintain staff who can receive incoming shipments. We expect that the scale of operational complexities related to shipping will continue, and we kindly ask for your understanding that lead times may be extended in certain cases.
