VIKING Track and Trace Each suit is equipped with bar code and an NFC chip for the app and an RFID chip for a table scanner. VIKING Care & Maintenance Via our smartphone app or customer portal, simply scan the bar code or the chip on the suit and register information about exposure to dangerous particles, washings, maintenance and repair. You are provided with an overview of the suit per individual and the overall status of suits for the entire department. This overview can help improve washing routines, for example by using information on the minimum amount of impregnation. And by registering usage, maintenance and repairs, you can share your feedback with us for possible improvements. Documentation is easy and automatic. How it works We offer a flexible license-based app program with a bar code scanner for easy, intuitive use. In preparation for our track and trace program, all VIKING suits, including fire suits, are equipped with a bar code and NFC chip for the app as well as built-in RFID chips behind an internal label for a table scanner.
