Don’t give hazardous particles a fighting chance Working together with some of the greatest firefighters in the field, VIKING has pioneered and proven tactical PartX ™ solutions offering a completely new level of particle protection. Removable outer shell The VIKING MACS model has an outer shell that can be easily detached before returning to the station, reducing exposure to potentially harmful particles. Firmly closed cuffs We’ve designed PartX ™ cuffs to defend against particle entry with a special filtering solution, without uncomfortable tightening around the wrists. Pant cuffs with special closures Unnoticed, particles have a tendency to slip in under hemlines. The new PartX™ closure helps prevent particles from entering while maintaining excellent mobility. Particle filtration hoods PartX ™ turnout gear can be integrated with VIKING’s latest firefighting hoods equipped with DuPont ™ Nomex ® Nano Flex technology, maximizing protection at the neck and jaw line - key entry points for hazardous substances. Extra protection at waist To further reinforce the protective barrier, we’ve designed a waist gaiter insuring better wearability and comfort.
