Take responsibility for tomorrow, today. Used carbide recycling program Carbide and our environment Our carbide products consist of rare and valuable raw materials, including tungsten, cobalt and tantalum. Rather than rely entirely on mining virgin material, Seco reduces its impact on the environment by recycling used materials. The powder created by the recycling process has the same properties and qualities as virgin powder. By recycling, we can prolong the time before the resources are at an end, as well as reduce energy consumption by approximately 70% and carbon emissions by 64%. Close the loop Circularity is only achieved when we act towards it together. By becoming a recycling partner with us, you can contribute to reducing environmental impact by closing material loops, enabling us to recycle the valuable raw materials in our products. With our recycling web service within your customer account, you can get a price offer, order free recycling containers, book shipment, download shipment labels, track your order, and see an overview of your CO2-savings.
