How to handle recycling packaging General recycling packaging instructions Use our boxes or barrels Please note — For our carriers to be able to pick up the order, the material needs to be packed in either our boxes or our barrels. — The weight of one box must NOT exceed 20 kg (48.5 lbs) — The weight of one barrel must NOT exceed 350 kg (771.6 lbs). — If three boxes or fewer are being sent to us, then the boxes can be transported as individual parcels without being strapped on a pallet. — If more than three boxes are sent to us, we recommend using a barrel instead of boxes. — If no barrels are available, then we recommend strapping four or more boxes on a pallet. — Boxes and barrels must be free of oil, coolant or other liquid residues for shipment. — The carbide should be as dry as possible and as free from dirt and chips as possible. — Inserts and round tools can be mixed in the same box or barrel. Define net- and gross weight — Net weight is only the weight of the material excluding packaging material (boxes, barrels, pallets etc). — Gross weight is the total weight of the material including the packaging material. — If you only have equipment to measure the gross-weight of the loaded pallet, and not the boxes or barrels separately, you can deduct the weight of the boxes, barrels, and pallet from the total gross-weight to get the net-weight. — Net weight Seco recycling box = 0,62 kg/1.36 lbs — Net weight Seco recycling barrel = 3,5 kg/7.7 lbs Scan the QR code and find out more information
