BB732 series is mainly designed for dia 114mm to 301mm for roughing and 114mm to 315mm for finishing. Optimal Coolant Flow Directly on the Cutting Edge BB732 new bridge bar series provides optimal coolant flow directly on the cutting edge and Steadyline® technology ensures vibration-free deep boring capabilities. Shell mill Steadyline® Holder Eigidity The conical-reinforced shape maximizes the rigidity of the holder to achieve high static and up to 3 times greater dynamic rigidity than equivalent solid holders. Steadyline® Vibration Damping System When using long overhang tools to machine difficult-to- access areas, such as deep cavities or sections of large, complex monolithic workpieces, vibration often becomes an issue, generating unwanted effects such as poor surface finish, poor hole geometry, premature tool wear. Flexible Design for both Roughing and Finishing Operations With the new BB732 Boring Bridges, there is no need to invest in roughing and finishing bridge bar separately, as the same bridge bar can be used for both applications. This provides a cost-effective modular solution, significantly minimizing the need for separate tools and reducing inventory costs. Safety stopper to Prevent Block Ejection caused by Centrifugal Effects Enhances safety and eliminates risks of blocks ejection in case of high RPM or potential programing errors, ensuring smooth and secure operations.
