Upgrade your cutting technology with existing tools Broaden your application area The Seco® Round 20 copy milling cutter with round inserts is suitable for various copy milling applications, including face, side, slot, plunge, and ramp milling. The array of insert grades tackle steel, stainless steel, heat resistant superalloys, cast iron, and hardened steel. Make every edge count The full flexibility of this system is not only to be found in different workpiece materials, but you can also decide the edge count: Depending on the needed depth of cut, the inserts can be indexed to provide four, six or eight cutting edges. Reduce your machining costs With cost-effective cassettes and shim options you don’t need to replace the whole cutter body due to pocket damage. Simply change the cassette or the shim to keep tooling costs and downtime low. Did someone say inventory? The backward compatibility of the Seco® Round 20 allows you to use already existing round inserts that can be indexed to four or eight positions. You can easily combine those with the latest cutter body to benefit from the latest technology.
