T35-H threading taps Thread tapping in challenging materials just got easier Seco T35-H threading taps combine optimized geometries, HSSE-PM material and TiAlSiN coating to achieve exceptional results in tough and abrasive materials. The tool geometry provides effective chip formation across hard steels, cast irons, and cast aluminums. The abrasion resistance of the coating ensures long tool life and a 15-degree helix angle produces small, manageable chips. Relatively large flutes efficiently evacuate chips even when the tool is kept stationary on a turning machine or rotated. An internal coolant option provides effective chip management.
