Sebra 2023 — — Environmental Policy At Sebra, we recognize that we have a responsibility for the carbon footprint our products leave on our planet. Therefore, our mission is to produce products with an impression but a minimal environmental impact. To fulfil our mission, we work with 3-year strategies where specific goals and initiatives are set and supported by concrete action plans. Our current strategy extends from 2023 to 2025. Responsible consumption and production To minimize our impact on the climate, we continuously work on collecting relevant data that can help us make the most environmentally friendly choices. The process requires a complete insight and mapping of the environmental impact throughout our supply chain. In 2022, we began the first stage of mapping by calculating the footprint of our headquarters in Esbjerg. In 2023, we aim to continue the work and are currently mapping our products' climate footprint, including materials, production, and transport. We work with all steps in the value chain to get an overview of where we can minimize our overall footprint. We acknowledge that the journey towards a smaller carbon footprint is long. This means we must do our best and continually strive to improve ourselves compared to yesterday. Unfortunately, it cannot always be guaranteed that the right solutions are available in the market. Still, we are working diligently to seek better materials and increase the number of products with organic and recycled content. At Sebra, we produce quality products with timeless designs and strive to create long lifespans that can be passed down from child to child - ideally through several generations. We work with six different certifications to contribute to our products being produced under good working conditions and with consideration for the environment. It is part of our strategy to increase the quantity of certified goods to influence the development in the right direction.
