PREFACE The Research and Innovation Unit of Radiology (UNIFY) at University of Southern Denmark (SDU) and Odense University Hospital (OUH) is a part of Department of Clinical Research at SDU. This annual report provides a broad perspective of our activities and contributions to the field of research in 2021. Our main focus is on research and innovation within diagnostic and interventional radiology including radiography. Our vision is that radiology and radiography work together to ensure diagnosis, treatment and follow ‐ up on diseases of high international scientific standard through patient centered research. We have access to a broad variety of radiological modalities. Since 2016, our research unit has grown significantly. At present, our research unit has 27 researchers and staff members employed. We have initiated many new projects and published 43 peer reviewed articles during 2021. We have received 7,592,193 Dkr.
