Food waste is converted to biogas that can be used as a fuel or for the generation of power and heat. Residues from the biogas plant are spread on agricultural land as a fertiliser. In this way, we utilise both energy and nutrients contained in the food waste. Also note! Food waste must be placed in bags. Please tie your bag with a knot.
