FoodTech encourages all exhibitors with unique food technological innovations to put their innovative products, solutions or processes forward for FoodTech Award 2020. The purpose is to shine a light on the foremost innovations within FoodTech by profiling these both before and during the exhibition and rewarding the overall best nomination with the FoodTech Award. IMPORTANT DATES Wednesday 9 September – 11 p.m. Deadline for submissions Tuesday 15 September Announcement of nominees – Everyone who has submitted a nomination will receive feedback per email. Tuesday 29 September Announcement of the FoodTech Award winner CONCEPT DESCRIPTION Every exhibitor can submit a maximum of three products, solutions or processes for assessment. In order to qualify for assessment, your product, solution and/or process must not have been introduced prior to January 2020. The assessment committee will select the best product, solution and/or process among the submitted, which will be put forward for nomination. The products, solutions or processes will be assessed based on three criteria. CRITERIA The assessment committee will assess the products, solutions and processes based on the following three criteria: FoodTech Award will be assigned on the basis of an overall assessment of the criteria. 1. News value (weighted 50%) 2. Implementation potential (weighted 25%) 3.
