Star Cool Bulletin No.: 00126 To: Star Cool Service Providers From: Star Cool Service Department Date: 30th October, 2019 Regarding: No Failure Found - CIM 6.2 Controllers (Black Version) It has unfortunately been observed that some returned CIM 6.2 (black) controllers from the field have been found with no failures or reasons to why they have been replaced. Therefore, please do some simple checks listed below prior to replacing the controller. 1. If possible, ensure that the controller has the latest software installed. 2. Follow the trouble shooting guidance for the displayed alarm on the Star Cool Service App. 3. See further materials, such as manuals, videos, guides etc. on our Service Portal. 4. Check the controller connector plug related to the fault you find in the alarm list by removing it and reconnecting it again. Also, check that the screws in the controller connector plug are tightened correctly. 5. If it is still necessary to replace the controller, please ensure to make a detailed description of the reason for replacement when filing the claim. This will help diagnostics and future analysis. Please instruct all relevant people in your organisation and make sure they receive a copy of this bulletin.
