Release note for Star Cool controller software 0356 rev 02 The key changes that have been implemented in software version 0356_02 are listed below. New functions and changes to existing functions: 1. New expansion valve (superheat) controller implemented. a) The capacity limiters are adjusted accordingly to meet the new SH controller. 2. QUEST option removed. 3. Alarm strategy changes. a) Events added: 37 Service vacuum pump b) Alarms added: 822 Hevap current error (ITI) 851 Alarm is active (ITI checkmark removed when alarms active) 895 CO2 sensor (ITI) 896 O2 sensor (ITI) 897 Hpump broken c) Alarms removed: 604 High press trouble 609 Defrost trouble 615 Mcond trouble 616 Mevap trouble 981 Tinternal HI d) The alarm handling is optimized to avoid unnecessary alarms being displayed. 4. Defrost improvements. a) Air defrost possibility – only use fan for melting ice. b) Manual defrost change – when pressing the defrost icon, a user interface selection is needed, either air, hot gas, or electrical depending on current unit status. 5. PTI & ITI improvement. a) Keep checkmark on for 90 days during power off and 10 days during power on, meaning every 10 days it runs a new ITI test. b) When running a PTI, a failing step in FT part of test will make unit stop after completion the FT. 6. Support of new pressure transmitter DST. Now available 3 options (AKS, NSK, and DST). 7. Vacuum pump preheat is optimized (CA units). a) Pump preheating starts when CO2 setpoint is +0.5%. If CO2 is setpoint is +0.8%, the pump starting regardless of the preheat temp/time. b) Pump service message in PTI – user interface changed (event 37) so the operator must now confirm the oil and filter replacement and the parameters are logged in the controller datalog. 8. New fields in the datalog (battery voltage, vacuum pump service run time).
