It began as a relatively simple tool for alarm code troubleshooting, accessing guides, videos, bulletin notifications and checking container warranty status. Since then, it has evolved into a tool that technicians simply can’t live without. When working on PTIs and repairing reefers, Coldsystem EHS AB in Sweden regularly uses the Star Cool Service app, mainly for alarm code troubleshooting guidance. “It is fast and easy to find the solution using the Star Cool Service app”, commented Edvard Horozovic, CEO of Coldsystem. Seamless connectivity The ability to connect to a Star Cool reefer via the Star Cool Connect Bluetooth dongle makes it possible to upload controller software and download data logs direct to the technician’s device. As well as being able to check the warranty status of individual parts, users can also file a warranty claim through the app, including attaching pictures and data logs. This streamlines the warranty process for the customer and MCI alike and helps to further improve service levels. The technician’s favourite With an average of 380 users a day, the Star Cool Service app has really taken off and proven itself extremely useful to people working with Star Cool reefers. “The app feature we use the most is uploading software and taking data logs with the dongle. It is a very helpful tool for our daily work repairing reefers.
