Why This guide? The guide contains knowledge, exercises and practical advice on how pain in the neck and back can occur. By doing so, hopefully the level of sick leave will be reduced. Backache is one of the most frequent complaints from individuals who sit down most of the day. Several studies indicate whether or not the use of height adjustable tables can have an impact on back pain. It is important to point out that Rome was not built in a day - and this guide should not be seen as a miracle cure that can completely eradicate abscence through sickness. It should only be seen as inspiration for how it can be reduced. The Danes sit on average for between 7-10 hours a day, which is one of the highest numbers in Europe. 3
