Max. bending moment is a way to express the resistance toward heavy off-centre loads without causing mechanical failure. The bending moment can be measured as either dynamic (during operation) or static (when stopped). What is duty cycle? When building a machine or a workstation, it is important to consider how often the lifting column system is operated. The DL2 column kits are rated with a duty cycle of 10%. This means that after max. 2 minutes of continuous use it is necessary to pause for 18 minutes. This limitation will ensure a long service life and optimal performance. How many columns can you operate in parallel? The kits are offered as either a single system or 2-4 parallel. The parallel system will ensure that all columns operate simultaneously and stay aligned when moving. Will the speed increase if I reduce the load? The short answer is “yes”. The DL2 is a powerful lifting column, which means that it consumes a lot of energy - in particular when running with a full load. By monitoring the current consumption, the control box regulates the speed of the column to ensure smooth operation. Where do I find system drawings, 3D models etc.?
