ACK With the OpenBus TM system it is possible to use ACK membrane front covers as attendant controls or hand controls integrated in the bed side rails. There are two different variants of ACK: ACK1 and ACK3. The ACK1 is a single membrane front cover, whereas the ACK3 comes with two membrane front covers, typically used on an inside side rail and an outside side rail. ACK offers easy access to critical positioning functions and correct bed position in case of emergency. Another benefit is high adaptation to customer needs with customised key and diode layouts, and membrane front covers adapted to the requested design and colour. Further benefits are included in the ACK3 version, as this offers double and flexible bed control for the patient and the nurse to give increased comfort and efficiency. ACK3 allows for full intuitive bed control with up to 2x15 keys and 2x7 LEDs. Features and options: • The membrane front covers can be used as controls for nurse and patient • Placed conveniently in the bed side rails allowing optimum ease of use • Up to 15 keys and 7 LEDs possible with the ACK1 • Up to 2x15 keys and 2x7 LEDs possible with the ACK3 • Protection against single fault condition according to IEC60601-1 when connected to a LINAK OpenBus TM control box • An LED which indicates when the battery is being charged (yellow) • There is no IP rating as standard. The customer must ensure a proper application design and build-in of the ACK unit to achieve the correct IP degree (e.g. IPX4). • Straight cables: 1250, 1800 or 2500 mm • Connection to CB or MJB via a “modular jack” cable (6-wired) • The standard ACK colour is grey (RAL 7035) • Possible to customise design and colours of the membrane front covers • Possible to customise the layout of the keys and LED´s • Possible to customise SW (LixEdit) Usage: • Operation temperature: +5 °C to +40 °C • Storage temperature: -10 °C to +50 °C • Compatibility: Compatible with LINAK control boxes. Please contact LINAK. • Relative humidity: 20% to 80% – non-condensing • Atmospheric pressure: 700 to 1060 hPa • Meters above sea level: Max. 3000 meters • Approvals: IEC60601-1 ANSI/AAMI ES60601-1 CAN/CSA-22.2 No 60601-1 LINAK.COM /MEDLINE-CARELINE
