A consortium with five technical universities, the association of professional engineers and the network of the rectors and deans of 30 technical universities in the Nordic and Baltic countries have joined forces to co-create new knowledge on engineering education that will enable Nordic engineers to become game changers in solving global challenges. Vision To be the point of reference, which delivers facts on science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education that contributes to a sustainable societal development in the Nordic region. Goal The overarching goal is to create a platform for knowhow sharing, a nexus for generating and disseminating new ideas on STEM education. Timeline Phase 1: September 2018 – September 2021 Project phase financed by the Nordic Council of Ministers, the Erasmus+ Strategic Partnership programme, Nordplus and additional funding from the five universities. Phase 2: Post September 2021 The Nordic Engineering Hub has positioned itself as a reliable and selffinancing focal point with a larger network of stakeholders.
