Increasing relevance In 2017, the Danish Society of Engineers, IDA, set its Vision 2025 and its strategic ambition for 2025 of membership growth, member satisfaction and retaining members. With ’Strategy 2021-2023’, IDA maintains its vision as well as its strategic ambition. IDA will therefore continue to aim at creating a high level of member satisfaction and high membership growth. The strategy is still based on IDA’s two key strategic pillars: ’Bringing members into play’ and ’Digitalisation and data’ A community of professionals that forms IDA’s foundation IDA’s fundamental values Vision 2025 and its five sub-visions The 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals IDA’s biggest competitor is not other unions, digital platforms, or universities and other educational institutions, and so on. Our biggest competitor is the situation where a potential member is not a member of anything or cannot see the relevance of IDA. That is why ’Increasing relevance’ is the heading of ’Strategy 2021-2023’.
