SALARY Your collective agreement ensures a minimum wage, as shown in the table below. The minimum wage is not the same as the regular wage. Typically, personal supplements are added on top of the minimum wage. With the supplement, you receive a normal and agreement-based wage that reflects the job’s responsibilities, your qualifications, efforts, skills, responsibilities, and education. Right to an annual salary review You have the right to an annual salary review at least once a year if you request it. Exercise your right so that you and your manager can regularly assess whether you are receiving the appropriate salary. If you have negotiated an additional supplement, you should pay attention to whether your salary increases when the minimum wage increases. If you do not receive a higher salary, even though the minimum wage is rising, it means that the minimum wage is eating into your supplement. But there is a reason why you negotiated an additional supplement of, for example, 1,500 kroner per month, and that reason does not disappear just because the calendar now says March 1st instead of February 28th. Therefore, you must approach your employer and make them aware that you have been offset and that you still deserve your original supplement 3
