FlowCon FNQ.0.2 and FNQ.1.2 Actuators 1B95085 - 06/2020 Installation and Operation Instruction The actuator types FlowCon FNQ.0.2 and FNQ.1.2 are electrical actuators. Both are 24V  modulating and FNQ.1.2 also includes failsafe. Figure 1 Fitting and Re-fitting   Figure 3 NEVER install the valve adaptor in closed position – this may damage the insert. Actu- ator is supplied as a two-part-set to ensure easy commissioning of the system. Separate the valve adaptor from the actuator (figure 2) by  pressing the green release button and  turning the top part of the actuator 30° counter clockwise.  Then remove the top part of the actuator from the valve adaptor.    Rotate the black knob on the valve adaptor counter clockwise (figure 3) so that the valve adaptor stem and the green indicators are in top position.  Mount the valve adaptor on the in- sert which already must be installed in the valve housing and finger tighten the connection union. Do not use additional tools.  Then place the actuator on the valve adaptor and turn clockwise 30°, until a “click” is heard. In case the actuator will have to be removed, fol- low the  steps described above. Orientation Please do not mount the actuator more than 90° from vertical.
