This can easily be changed to 4-20mA control and feed- back signal by flipping DIP switches #3 and #4 from OFF to ON. If 0-10V control and feedback signal is required, make sure that all DIP switches are set to OFF. Then press and hold the push button on the PCB for 3 seconds. LED will blink red once. Press and release the push button again. LED will now blink red twice. Then flip #2 to ON and back to OFF. Press and hold the push button on the PCB for 3 seconds to save 0-10V setting. FlowCon B Actuators 01/2025 Stroke Adjustment As standard the actuators come with a 0° to 90° rotation angle. The angle can be adjusted to a narrower angle by loosening, moving and tight- ening the screws available at each end of the rotation scale. Manual Override Disconnect power, press the clutch on the side of the actuator casing and mechanically turn the valve spindle (handle found as spare underneath actuator mounting bracket). NOTE: Do not press the clutch while the actuator is in operation. End Switches / Auxiliary Switches (B-Aux) Auxiliary switching is used to indicate the immi- nent end position of the valve to start or stop e.g. a fan or other accessories. Each of these actua- tors can be fitted with an auxiliary switch module, B-Aux – the plug on module is ordered under its own part number. Fitting and Re-fitting (B-Aux) Follow Manual Override procedure above and turn valve spindle to a middle position, approxi- mately 45° for easier fitting of the B-Aux. Then remove actuator from the valve. Place the B-Aux mounting bracket on the actuator (figure 3) by fitting the threaded rods into the holes from the bottom of the actuator. Then fix it securely with the supplied two 9 mm bolts and washers. Fit the actuator on the valve again (make sure that the U-bracket is still in the middle position, ap- proximately 45°). To fit the B-Aux module in the bracket (figure 4), finger press it down until in place. Turn the white bracket on the bottom of the B-Aux to fit over U- bracket. Ensure that all 4 ‘legs’ are properly fitted into their slots. Do not use additional tools. Figure 4 In case the B-Aux has to be removed, discon- nect power and reverse the above procedure. Auxiliary Switches Position Setting (B-Aux) B-Aux is factory set at 10° and 80° out of the standard 0-90° (figure 5). To adjust the switching point for the lower con- tact, follow Manual Override procedure above and turn the B-Aux dial to the desired position (white dot on the outer white ring is the position indicator). Then use a flathead screwdriver and turn the left arrow on the B-Aux to align ‘switch’ arrow with wiring arrow for the lower contact. Similarly, for the upper contact, turn the dial on the B-Aux to the desired switching point. Then align the left ‘switch’ arrow with the wiring arrow for the upper contact.
