This can easily be changed to 4-20mA control and feed- back signal by flipping DIP switches #3 and #4 from OFF to ON. If 0-10V control and feedback signal is required, make sure that all DIP switches are set to OFF. Then press and hold the push button on the PCB for 3 seconds. LED will blink red once. Press and release the push button again. LED will now blink red twice. Then flip #2 to ON and back to OFF. Press and hold the push button on the PCB for 3 seconds to save 0-10V setting. FlowCon T Actuators 01/2025 Stroke Adjustment The actuators come with a 0° to 90° rotation angle. Stroke position indicator is located on the side of the U-bracket. The angle is not adjust- able. Manual Override Disconnect power. With a flathead screwdriver loosen screw and remove actuator cover. Press the clutch (copper colored rod) on the PCB board and mechanically turn the valve spindle. Replace cover and tighten screw. NOTE: Do not press the clutch while the actuator is in opera- tion. End Switches / Auxiliary Switches (T-Aux) Auxiliary switching is used to indicate the immi- nent end position of the valve to start or stop e.g. a fan or other accessories. Each of these actua- tors can be fitted with an auxiliary switch module, T-Aux – the plug on module is ordered under its own part number. Fitting and Re-fitting (T-Aux) Follow Manual Override procedure above and turn valve spindle to a middle position, approxi- mately 45° for easier fitting of the T-Aux. Then remove actuator from the valve. Slide the T-Aux mounting bracket onto the actuator (figure 3) and fix it securely from the bottom of the actua- tor with the supplied two 11 mm bolts. Fit the actuator on the valve again (make sure that the U-bracket is still in the middle position, approxi- mately 45°). To fit the T-Aux module in the bracket (figure 4), finger press it down until in place. Turn the white bracket on the bottom of the T-Aux to fit over the U-bracket. Ensure that all 4 ‘legs’ are properly fitted into their slots. Do not use additional tools. Figure 4 In case the T-Aux has to be removed, disconnect power and reverse the above procedure. Auxiliary Switches Position Setting (T-Aux) T-Aux is factory set at 10° and 80° out of the standard 0-90° (figure 5). To adjust the switching point for the lower con- tact, follow Manual Override procedure above and turn the T-Aux dial to the desired position (white dot on the outer white ring is the position indicator). Then use a flathead screwdriver and turn the left arrow on the T-Aux to align ‘switch’ arrow with wiring arrow for the lower contact. Similarly, for the upper contact, turn the dial on the T-Aux to the desired switching point. Then align the left ‘switch’ arrow with the wiring arrow for the upper contact.
