FlowCon SH DN50-250 (2”-10”) 12/2025 Installation and Operation Instruction The FlowCon SH is available in 4 different flanged models covering 8 different sizes: • FlowCon SH.3 DN50-80 (2”-3”) • FlowCon SH.4 DN80-100 (3”-4”) • FlowCon SH.5 DN125-150 (5”-6”) • FlowCon SH.6 DN200-250 (8”-10”) Setting and Installation Prior to installation the FlowCon SH (supplied from factory in setting 3.0), the system should be properly flushed. If system flushing cannot be completed prior to installing the FlowCon SH, the valve must be set in the fully open position by ro- tating the micrometer setting clockwise to setting 6.0 and then flush. Figure 1 O-rings are supplied with the valve body and are used to seal the connections. It is recommended to grease the O-rings with silicone grease. Please make sure these are properly placed in the O-ring grooves on valve inlet and outlet, be- fore installing the housing. After flushing, set the valve to the required flow rate by adjusting the micrometer. The microm- eter setting is located on top of the valve and is adjusted using the dedicated FlowCon adjust- ment key. The micrometer scale consists of two components; a primary scale, where black digits (0-6) on white counter wheel represent full turns and a secondary scale, where white digits (0-9) on red counter wheel represent 1/10 of full turn. If proper system flushing is performed before- hand, the required micrometer setting can be ap- plied either before or after installing the FlowCon SH into the pipework. Please note that FlowCon SH.6 (DN200-250 / 8”-10”) contains two O-ring grooves. Use the inner groove for DN200 / 8” flanges and outer groove for DN250 / 10” flanges.
