LYSIMETH AMINO ACID MIX THAT BALANCES THE FEED Are your cows not performing in the first period of lactation? LysiMeth is the solution for high yielding cows on a low raw protein diet. The objective of max. 17% raw protein in dairy cow rations is good for the climate but can restrict milk production at the onset of lactation. Trials have shown that cows are short of amino acids (AAT) at the onset of lactation and respond with higher yield when extra AAT is added as a supplement. LysiMeth meets the needs of the cow LysiMeth is an attractive solution capable of meeting the need for amino acid - especially in rations with a low raw protein content for high-yield cows at the onset of lactation. LysiMeth contains rumen-protected amino acids with the optimum ratio of lysine and methionine. Easy addition to complete feed LysiMeth has the optimum composition for cows that are fed with a low or zero content of soyabean meal, supplemented with rapeseed products or other sources of protein. The most common protein feeds all contain less lysine than soya, making it hard to achieve the optimum supply. LysiMeth should be added to the complete feed at the rate of 50-150 g per cow per day to achieve the perfect level of amino acids. More milk throughout lactation Feed costs fall when less protein is used, and yield can perhaps be main- tained. Combined with the correct supply of amino acids, cows produce 12 kg ECM extra. Grouping of the dairy cows and automatic feeding makes it possible to supply the cows at the onset of lactation with the right level of amino acids from LysiMeth. Their yield becomes higher, and they produce more milk throughout the lactation. RECOMMENDED DOSE Add 50-150 g per cow per day LysiMeth, depending on ration composition. LysiMeth comes in 25 kg bags and can be added to your mineral feed
