PEOPLE AT THE CORE People are at the heart of our business and culture. We treat each other and everyone else with respect and decency and show interest in others, not just for what they do. As the business evolves, we need new competen- cies. Therefore, we invest in the development of our colleagues to ensure they grow professionally and have the opportunity to test themselves in new roles. We prepare them through training for the tasks of the future and build the foundation of future colleagues and leaders. At the same time, we work to attract new talent that brings knowledge and new impulses into the organisation. Fierce competition for employees exists, and we work actively to be an attractive employer with people at the core. Through our annual Celsius survey, we measure employee satisfaction and engagement in the DLG Group. The total Group response rate in 2024 was 80%, which is an increase of one percentage point compared to the previous year. Compared to last year’s survey, in terms of engage- ment, the 2024 survey showed that the DLG Group decreased two percentage points, from 77% to 75%, and thus we did not reach our goal of maintaining engagement. To strengthen engagement, and based on data from the Celsius survey, all leaders are asked to engage in dialogue with their teams to learn how to develop and create an even better workplace together. We know that good leadership is crucial for wellbeing, engagement and performance. Leadership was also a key focus area for the Executive Committee in 2024, resulting in the creation of the DLG Group Leadership Principles, which will be implemented across the Group in 2025.
