INITIATIVES TARGETING SCOPE 1 AND SCOPE 2 REDUCTIONS PURCHASING ELECTRICITY FROM RENEWABLE ENERGY SOURCES To reach our goal of reducing scope 1 and 2 emissions by 50% by 2030 compared to 2019 levels, we are increasing our use of renewable energy sources. We have entered into a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) where we invest in additional green power from a new solar park, which is expected to start production in 2026. The PPA will cover approximately 50% of the DLG Group’s electricity consumption in Denmark. SOLAR PANELS AT OWN LOCATIONS To increase the use of renewable energy sources, solar panels are installed at a number of locations to be able to locally produce part of the renewable energy we need at those locations. OPTIMISATION OF ALL PRODUCTION AND LOGISTICS PHASES Efficient operations, production and logistics are crucial to achieving our goals. Therefore, we work constantly to reduce emissions through energy optimisation and by electrify- ing our locations. VEHICLE FLEET Our fleet, which includes tankers and flatbed lorries, is continuously updated with state-of- the-art vehicles with lower fuel consumption and which can carry larger loads. In addition, we continuously optimise our logistics processes to reduce mileage and thereby reduce emissions from our fleet. Our drivers are also continuously trained in how to optimise driving and fuel consumption. In 2024, we reduced our CO 2 e emissions for scope 1& 2 by 21% compared to the baseline year 2019, and by 13% compared to 2023. The reduction compared to last year was achieved by lower energy consumption in production and renewable electricity certificates. During 2025, with the purpose of preparing an action plan for the DLG Group, the Group’s CO 2 reduction targets up to 2023 will be broken down to business units level.
