DLF Grass Partner Programme ON-FARM TRIALS DLF are committed to delivering forage solutions to contribute to Irish Agriculture achieving our climate targets. We are taking a research-led approach so that Irish farmers can choose results-driven solutions without compromising the impact on the planet. We already have many tools to enable progress towards these goals while working at a global level to bring NxtGen solutions. The DLF Partner Farm Programme plays a significat role in extending our R&D investment beyond our research trial site in Waterford. It allows DLF to bring our research to the farm gate, bridging the gap between controlled plots, and the cut and thrust of a working farm with its management, livestock and weather challenges. Here we can see how new DLF varieties and mixtures really perform in Irish conditions. Our Grass Partners are at the forefront of new technologies and mixtures. They are leading the way on concepts like oversowing white clover, red clover silage, multi-species mixtures, Festulolium grasses and the inclusion of home-grown protein crops like Alfalfa.
