Research and development are at the heart of our business. Based on trends, needs and wants of the marketplace our worldwide research and breeding network develop new and better performing varieties to be used in mixtures for a wide range of purposes and climatic conditions. Before we release new seed to the market, we test its suitability in a variety of climates and different soil types. The data tells us how your seed will perform. We are the world’s largest producer and distributor of grass seed with a global network. From our offices in Denmark, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Holland, Ireland, Italy, Poland, Sweden, the UK, Turkey, Russia, China, New Zealand, Australia, South Africa, Canada, USA, Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay we cover the world. 2

DLF Packaging options CONVENIENT AND CUSTOMIZED PACKAGING OPTIONS CUSTOMIZED PACKAGING Expect the best seed you can get – cleaned and packed in a format that makes it easy to handle. Depending on the scale of your operation and the manner in which you like to handle your seed, we can pack and deliver in a suitable format. Get your packaging personalized by either using bespoke labels on a range of standard pouches or design your own label or box. Get inspired by looking into this brochure. Contact your local DLF sales manager to get more information. PRODUCTIONS FACILITIES From our production facilities in Højme we handle 23,500 tonnes of seeds per year. We pack 950,000 boxes, 1.9 mio pouches, 1 million paper bags and 8,000 bigbags and send out 55,000 pallets every year. We deliver seed to many countries around the world. Investments are continually made in packaging technology to produce folios, bags and boxes according to the custom- er demands that regularly occur. Our goal is to have transportation executed as effectively as possible. We offer customers a fast delivery. The delivery date is set to meet the customers needs. Within sustainability we make sure that all waste is handled in an environmentally friendly way. All our biowaste is recycled at district heating plants. 3
