Are your current systems in compliance? if they are not the following would need to be considered: n Scheduling and planning for the first dry docking after 1st July 2014 n Evaluating which solution to choose n ordering hardware n initiating the approval phase n Getting the approval n Booking technicians n implementing installation n Carry out post-installation testing n Getting the statement of acceptance The hook retrofit must take place during the first scheduled dry docking after 1st July 2014, but not later than 1st July 2019. That means you only have one chance to ensure that your LRRS is in compliance with these regulations.
