Do not hesitate to ask the staff if you have any questions. Practical information The ward phone number: 6541 2662. Transportable phone for patients: 5140 8926. Call the ward first and the staff will bring the telephone to the patient. Mobile phone Q1 We receive patients for investigation and treatment for infectious diseases. The ward has 17 beds in all. The beds are distributed in two-bed, single-bed and isolation rooms. We also have a semi-intensive room for critically ill patients. You may bring your own mobile phone but it must be switched off between 12.00-14.00 and after 22.00. Enquiries The staff is bound by their professional secrecy. We therefore, as a general rule, advice relations to put questions directly to the patient. With the approval of the patient, it is possible for relations to seek information about the patient's condition by phone or by approaching the staff. We kindly ask relations to avoid enquiries between 07.00-11.00 and between 15.00-17.00. The patient hotel If you are out of bedrest and can look after yourself it may be possible for you to stay in the patient hotel. The staff You will meet nurses and doctors, care assistents, a medical and a nursing secretary and service assistents. You may also meet students and trainees from various health teams and physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dieticians and psychologists. Our chaplain visits once a week. Visiting hours There are no fixed visiting hours but silence is requested in the rooms during midday rest between 12.00-14.00. No visitors after 21.00. 2
