All Jones Corporation Stops are manufactured in accordance with the AWWA Standard C-800-latest revision. - Copper Alloy CDA No. 89833 (Low Lead) - Copper Alloy CDA No. C83600 (85-5-5-5)* - NSF 61 Certified. 2. Maximum pressure rating: - Ball 3/4" - 2" valves - Ground Key 3/4" - 1" valves 1-1/2" - 2" valves 300psi 100psi 80psi 3. All Jones Corporation Stops are tested individually. 4. Pipe wrenches should NEVER be used to install service brass products. 5. Use only smooth jawed adjustable wrench on the flats provided nearest the thread being made up. 6. It is recommended that all pressure testing be done prior to backfilling. 7. Replacement components are available from your Jones distributor. 8. Box quantities are located in the Trade Net Sheet. *All service brass will comply with AWWA C-800. Components in contact with potable water will also comply with latest requirements of the Federal Safe Drinking Water Act. Ball Type Corporation Valves ❏ 300 PSIG - maximum working pressure. ❏ DOUBLE O-RING STEM SEALS - are supported in precision machined grooves and provide secure, leak tight sealing. ❏ INLET THREADS - are either AWWA taper or AWWA iron pipe. ❏ STAINLESS STEEL REINFORCED SEAT SEAL assures reliable seal under full flow and pressure. ❏ END PIECE O-RING - provides secondary seal to prevent leakage. ❏ BLOW-OUT PROOF STEM DESIGN - prevents separation and assures dependable, safe operation. ❏ HEAVY BRASS COMPONENTS - are constructed of ASTM 584 low lead brass for strength and durability. ❏ STRAIGHT-DESIGN - allows maximum flow with minimum pressure loss. ❏ MANUFACTURED AND TESTED - to ANSI/AWWA C800 standard. ❏ EXTRA STRONG - key to ball connection provides strong, reliable performance and resists breakage. ❏ OUTLETS - include copper flare connection, Jones® 110 Compression Connection (Super Grip), Pack Joint Connection and iron pipe thread connections. ❏ STEM ROTATION - full 360 degree. ❏ Fluorocarbon COATED BALL - ensures smooth , easy turning operation. *See charts on pages 6.8-6.9 for tubing and pipe that may be used with these connections.
