Who is this guide made for? This guide is designed to reduce sickness absence due to sedentary behavior. Sitting or lying down while awake is classified as ‘sedentary’ behavior. You can be sedentary at work, at home, at school when you travel or in your spare time. Sedentary behavior requires a very low consumption of energy.
