JACOB MCHANGAMA INTERNATIONAL MEDIA APPEARANCES 2009-2013 Jacob Mchangama speaking at the 2011 Oslo Freedom Forum, described as ”The Davos of Human Rights” by The Economist Jacob Mchangama, born 1978, is the Head of Legal Affairs of the Danish think-tank CEPOS, co-founder and director of the Freedom Rights Project and former lecturer of international human rights law at the University of Copenhagen. Jacob is a prominent expert commentator on human rights and freedom of expression with more than a 100 articles and news stories in international media including Foreign Affairs, The Economist, The Times (of London), Wall Street Journal Europe, BuzzFeed, BBC World, Deutsche Welle and The Huffington Post. In 2013, Jacob released the short documentary film “Collision! Free Speech and Religion”, which received mentions in international media including The Economist and National Review. Jacob often appears in electronic media (both TV and radio) and is regularly invited to speak at international conferences including events on Capitol Hill and The House of Commons. For three consecutive years (2010-2012), Jacob has been named among the 30 most influential Danish public commentators by Danish daily Politiken.
