Purpose The new Touch D7 remote terminal has been developed by Aalborg Industries to offer remote control facilities for customers who have a SIPART and PLC-based boiler control panel. With reduced manpower availability onboard seagoing vessels, the upgrading of the control panel will be a great help to the duty engineers during cargo operation. Features Based on an innovative system approach an optimised control platform is available now to handle complete boiler control from the remote location. The integration of operational stages and error stages of the boiler plant. Alarms can be logged automatically or managed by an operator.
