FPS News No. 7 · March 2007 Aalborg Industries has established a new standard for boiler supplies for large FPSOs Aalborg Industries' top selling product for today's large FPSOs is the MISSION™ D-type boiler. Together with the boiler skid concept, the capacities and qualities of the MISSION™ D-type boiler has established a new standard for top-side boiler installations on the large FPSOs. MISSION D-type boiler In its standard version, MISSION™ D-type is designed for capacities up to 120 t/h saturated steam. The boiler can also be built for an operation pressure of 40 bar and with a superheater for 400°C, which makes it one of the most efficient boilers in the Floating Production Systems (FPS) market. The two versions of our MISSION™ D-type boiler have been selected for a large number of prestigious projects and have already today reached a cumulated steam capacity of some 2,600 t/h for the offshore industry alone. The skid concept In order to meet market demands, Aalborg Industries have developed a concept where the boilers and all their accessories are assembled on skids.
